My philosophy
Let me start by saying I am a conservative injector. I want my clients to look and feel their best while maintaining their authentic selves. Many clients in their twenties say I want to do preventative Botox. I then advise them that neurotoxins are preventative but unless you are starting to notice fine lines in the area to be treated, doing neurotoxins is a waste of money. Neurotoxins last three months and only prevent lines while the toxin is maintained.
Prevention
The better option for prevention is skin treatments, like laser genesis or microneedling. Unfortunately, we all start losing collagen when we are 25 years old. So rebuilding our collagen and or preventing the deficit is key to keeping your skin looking healthy and youthful. A few other aspects of treating your skin right are using sunscreen, avoiding damage created from UVA and UVB rays, eating healthily, getting enough sleep, reducing your stress levels, and please don't smoke.
When is it right to start neurotoxins
We lose 1% of collagen a year, so when we start seeing those fine lines on our forehead, between our brows, or around our eyes, the first treatment we think about is neurotoxins, which is appropriate.
